Study Abroad - Students - Faculty - Staff

BOR Policy:

As of January 1, 2010, all students that study abroad are required to purchase CISI Study Abroad insurance. As of January 1, 2013, all faculty and staff participating in a university affiliated international activity are required to enroll at the expense of the university in the Board of Regents endorsed study abroad insurance plan.

Waiver:

The only time this policy can be waived is through another Regental institution third party through a cooperative agreement. Waivers can only be approved if the third party insurance meets or exceeds CISI plan. Regental institutions can waive and must have full documentation to waive.
