​Sexual Assault Prevention, Title IX and Equal Opportunity Policies, Reporting and Assistance
The South Dakota Board of Regents seeks to prevent sexual assault and to reduce its adverse effects on victims. In keeping with best practices, Board policies address three objectives. Board policies require institutions
to sponsor programming to help prevent sexual assault;
to adopt practices that provide assurance of prompt, informed and fair investigation and resolution of complaints involving sexual harassment; and
to offer reasonable accommodations to victims and to provide them with information about the ranges of assistance available within university communities.
