The regental system values its graduates, which is why we’ve devised a tuition program for undergraduate students who are children of alumni. Students are eligible for a reduced tuition if one or both parents graduated from a regental university and has a residency in South Dakota. To speed up the application and approval process, a short section specific to this program has been incorporated into the Undergraduate Application for Admission

Certain survivors of tragic accidents qualify for tuition waivers if they’re within accordance with state law. Students are eligible for a 100% tuition waiver if: a parent died as a direct result of injuries received in the performance of official duties. The deceased parent was employed as a firefighter, certified law enforcement officer or emergency medical technician. And if the tragedy occurred before the child turned 21 years old.

To apply you must print a hard copy of this regental form and complete it as directed and submit it to the registrar’s office or business office at your home university. Don’t forget to attach a copy of the death certificate.
