Dakota State Students Earn Recognition
Student organizations at Dakota State University were recognized by the South Dakota Board of Regents for their academic excellence, community service, and organizational leadership.

In a series of academic program actions, the South Dakota Board of Regents has approved the expanded offering of a popular undergraduate degree in psychology, a new minor in robotics, and seven new certificate programs.

Planning for University Athletic Facilities Proceeds
The South Dakota Board of Regents gave permission for preliminary planning to proceed on three new athletic facilities at South Dakota State University and The University of South Dakota.
Five University Researchers Earn State Research Grants
Competitive state research grants were awarded to five faculty members from South Dakota public universities. The immediate benefit is to help advance their individual research projects, but the long-term goal is to strengthen the state’s capacity for research and technology development.
