Perry Awarded Honorary Doctorate

The South Dakota Board of Regents awarded its highest honor to Robert
T. Tad Perry, who will retire July 7 as the regents’ executive director and chief executive officer.

Facility Design, Bonding Approved for University Center-Black Hills

Plans for a new off-campus higher education center in the Black Hills region moved another step closer to reality as the South Dakota Board of Regents approved a design plan and financing for the $13.4 million facility.

Dakota State University will begin offering associate and bachelor degrees in network & system administration beginning this fall. The South Dakota Board of Regents approved the action at its meeting today in Pierre.
