Optimizing Academic Budget Models: Dissecting decentralized budget models that include responsibility-centered management (RCM), with a focus on the desirable effects of decentralized models (like incentives for the schools and colleges to grow revenue) which can be achieved without the disadvantages associated with those models (like a lack of centrally held, strategic funding for new ventures).

Breaking the Cost-Quality Trade-off: Focus on the 10 unit-level “no regrets” analyses to help deans and chairs identify efficiency opportunities.
