Transfer Agreements with Technical Institutes Reach 229

A credit-transfer agreement reached between South Dakota State University and Lake Area Technical Institute has brought the total number of agreements system-wide to 229.

Dakota State Offers 12-Hour Certificate in Research Computing

Dakota State University is broadening its outreach in high-tech computing with a new certificate program. University officials said the 12 credit-hour program is intended for individuals not currently enrolled in college who want to expand their computer science skills into high-performance computing.

Kyle Chase and David Giago-Zephier Awarded Bjugstad Scholarship

Kyle Chase, a graduate of Mobridge High School, and David Giago-Zephier, a graduate of Red Cloud High School, have both been awarded a $500 Bjugstad Scholarship for the
2008-09 academic year by the South Dakota Board of Regents.
