Computer Game Design Major Considered at DSU

The South Dakota Board of Regents has given Dakota State University the goahead
to begin planning for a new major in computer game design at the Madison campus.

Capital University Center Breaks Ground

Ground was broken March 26 for construction of a permanent home for Capital University Center in Pierre. CUC, a public higher education center, provides students from throughout central South Dakota, including those from this area, improved access to postsecondary education.

Board Sets Tuition and Mandatory Fees for 2008-09

Tuition and mandatory fees will go up an average of 5.9 percent to cover the basic operations of the public university system next year.


New Legal Studies Minor Approved for USD

A new business-oriented minor in legal studies at The University of South Dakota, approved by the South Dakota Board of Regents, will help guide future business leaders as they deal with a changing legal and compliance environment.


Campus Emergency Alert System Soon to Be Deployed

A new emergency alert system for the public university system in South Dakota will soon be deployed.
