Transfer Agreements Reached with Technical Institutes
Four more credit-transfer
agreements have been reached between public universities and technical
institutes in South Dakota, bringing the total number of agreements
system-wide to 228. The latest pacts involve Northern State University
and programs at three of the four technical institutes.

Another
Record-Setting Year for University Center
It was another record-setting
year for University Center, the public higher education center in Sioux
Falls. Enrollments hit all-time highs in many areas, and planning moved
into the final stages for new classroom and research facilities, Executive
Dean Mark Lee told the South Dakota Board of Regents. University
Center served a total of 3,262 students

The University of South Dakota
will offer a new doctoral degree in political science starting in the
fall of 2008. The South Dakota Board of Regents this week authorized
the Ph.D. degree.
