Director For New Enrollment Services Center Named


PIERRE-The Board of Regents announced today that Dr. Ray Pospisil will be the Director of the Enrollment Services Center to open on the campus of the University of South Dakota in the spring of 1997. He will begin his duties on October 1, 1996.

Pospisil's duties as Director of the Enrollment Services Center will include administering the daily operations of the Center, which will be responsible for processing student applications for admission to South Dakota public universities, financial aid verification, issuing student billings, for providing administrative reports to the campuses and Board of Regents office. He will also have significant responsibilities in the coordination and implementation of systemwide changes to the student information system and the development of the Center itself.

Pospisil has been the Registrar the University of South Dakota since 1986. Previously, he was Associate Director for Registration for Virginia Commonwealth University from 1984-86 and Assistant to the Registrar at Indiana University Bloomington from 1980-83. Pospisil earned a Ph.D. and an M.A. from Indiana University Bloomington and his undergraduate degree at Kent State University in Ohio.
