Regents Name Search Committee for NSU President
ABERDEEN, SD - Meeting today on the campus of Northern State University, the Board of Regents appointed a Regental Search Committee to begin the search process for a new President of NSU.
Chairing the committee is Regent James Hart of Miller. Also serving are Regents Harvey Jewett of Aberdeen and Curt Jones of Britton. Regents President David Gienapp of Madison will serve as ex-officio on the committee.
John Hilpert, Vice-President for University Relations at the University of South Dakota, will start serving as Interim-President on August 1, 1997. His term will end July 1, 1998.
Hilpert replaces outgoing President John Hutchinson who has accepted a pastoral position in Missouri.
