| For Immediate Release: Friday, January 9, 2004 Morris Reappointed to Board of Regents PIERRE - Randy Morris of Spearfish has been reappointed by Gov. Mike Rounds to the South Dakota Board of Regents, the Governor's Office announced today. Morris is executive director of Black Hills Special Services Cooperative, a Sturgis-based agency that offers education, community development coordination, and technology applications to communities across South Dakota. "Randy has a long history of involvement in the public education system," Gov. Rounds said. "I am pleased he has agreed to continue serving the citizens of South Dakota as a regent." Morris was appointed to the Board of Regents in July 2001 to fill an unexpired term. His reappointment is effective April 1 and will continue through March 31, 2010. -30- |
