What do the little question marks() mean?
  These are areas that might be a little confusing or there is more information on these areas. If you click on the question mark another window will open with the information in it. When you are done reading the information just close the window or keep it open for future reference.

I click on those little question marks and nothing happens - what is going wrong?
  There is a very simple fix for this problem. Just follow the directions for the browser you are using:
    Netscape:
  1. In the toolbar at the top of the browser window select "Edit"
  2. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down list
  3. Click on the word "Advanced" in the tree structure to the left of the pop-up window
  4. Make sure that the checkboxes "Enable Java","Enable JavaScript", and "Enable JavaScript for Mail and News" are checked
  5. Click "OK"

I want to get notified of new jobs - how do I do this?
  If you want to be notified when new jobs have opened in the South Dakota Higher Education system please click on the "Notification" link on the top of the screen. Three options will appear - Request, Edit and Delete. Click on the "Request" link to join our notification list. Be sure to complete All fields. Submitting your request completes the process. You will receive all position vacancies, in accordance with your request, as they occur!

If you wish to "Edit" your information or "Delete" your name for the notification list, you may do so through the "Notification" link located at the top of the screen. Be sure to enter in the same e-mail address used to register for the notification service.

I want to apply for several positions; can I just submit one resume?
  To insure the highest degree of customer service in a timely manner, applications/resumes are submitted directly to the posting institution. The application procedure for each position is shown at the bottom of the announcement. We encourage applicants to tailor their application/resume to the knowledge, skills and abilities of each position they are interested in.

Where can I obtain an application form?
  The state of South Dakota application form maybe downloaded as a Word document at http://www.sdbor.edu/administration/human_resources/documents/SDApplicationForm.pdf, the Personnel/Human Resource Office of any Public Higher Education institution, or from any South Dakota one stop career center.
