South Dakota's EveryTeacher grant was awarded in September 2002 by the US Department of Education as a Teacher Quality Enhancement Grant under Title II of the Higher Education Act. This three-year $11 million dollar project is funding a professional development program for teachers in South Dakota that encompasses the full continuum of teacher preparation, from pre-service university programs through the accomplished practices of National Board Certified Teachers.
