EveryTeacher is funded by the US Department of Education. It is a collaborative grant between the South Dakota Department of Education, the South Dakota Board of Regents, and South Dakota’s Technology and Innovation in Education (TIE).
South Dakota's
EveryTeacher grant was awarded in September 2002 by the
US Department of Education as a Teacher Quality Enhancement Grant
under Title II of the Higher Education Act. This three-year $11
million dollar project is funding a professional development program
for teachers in South Dakota that encompasses the full continuum
of teacher preparation, from pre-service university programs through
the accomplished practices of National Board Certified Teachers.
