The
South Dakota School of Mines &
Technology (SDSM&T ), founded in 1885, has a proud heritage
of excellence in preparing graduates to serve as leaders in the
professions of engineering and science. SDSM&T graduates design,
construct and operate modern technology to meet complex challenges
such as global warming, health care delivery, advanced computing,
energy resource development, mineral extraction and processing,
environmental quality, transportation and national defense.
