The Board approves new degree programs offered by the universities. The Board first authorizes the university to plan and then approves the degree proposal. The Board also authorizes universities to deliver majors and degrees at off-campus locations such as Sioux Falls, Rapid City and Pierre and to deliver programs using distance delivery.
