The
South Dakota Board of Regents is conducting a system-wide
review of programs in teacher education.
The
process involves people closely affiliated with the programs
as well as an external group that includes members from the
state affiliated with other aspects of the educational systems.
The external group will include legislators, representatives
of K-12 bodies and other stake holders.
The
Education Discipline Council will comprise the majority of
members of the internal group. Faculty and/or
administrators from Arts and Sciences and a Vice President
for Academic Affairs will also participate. An external
consultant is assisting with this process. |
